Have you ever been on the hunt for something you really want, only to come to dead ends everywhere you turn? You know what you want, don’t think it is that uncommon, but can’t find it anywhere?
That’s how this company was born in early 2011… two guys searching for a pair of shorts that would be suitable for functional fitness. We’d do some web searches, visit some popular sites and order ‘em up right? Apparently not. We had some key features that we were looking for and during months of searching, all we continued to come across were a few products that were sold out and a LOT of products that fell short. They had a feature or two that we were interested in, but not all of them. If we were going to spend the money to transition from a basic pair of board shorts or gym shorts, we wanted to get all the features we were looking for.
If you’ve gone through a search like that, you can easily understand our frustration. In our case, the frustration we felt gave birth to an idea. We felt like the struggle we went through is one that might not be that uncommon. There’s no way we could be the only people who have had this kind of trouble looking for a good pair of shorts! After much investigation, research and communication with many different manufacturers, we were able to develop a product that offered all of the features we were looking for. We’re athletes, so our first priority was to put the athlete first. That meant that comfort and durability would be paramount; Paramount, but not everything. After all, if comfort was the only thing, we’d all be working out in banana hammocks! We’re happy to say that our shorts cover you right up, keep you comfortable, and look great.
Our work was validated quickly. We chose a few people to “let the cat out of the bag” with, and the ones we showed our early products to fell in love... FAST. We had athletes wanting to come on board and business owners who wanted us to custom brand our products for their training members right out of the gate. We hadn’t even placed our final product order or gone live with our site and already we had clients!
